The Table

This place is so cute! We loved the aesthetic vibe inside and the outdoor seating area is great too! My daughter and I both ordered their Cuban sandwich and fries and it was one of the best Cubans we’ve had! We also ordered mocha lattes and dessert for later. Would definitely recommend!

The portions are very generous and I feel like you get a lot for the price...the focaccia bread is amazing and the pasta salad is good, too. Super cute decor, small bar and little chairs and tables under a gorgeous milk bottle chandelier. Very pretty place to have lunch or brunch...they offer kid food, but not a place I would take kids to sit down (under 12 anyway). Carryout service was very good, coffee is A+. Employees are friendly and service was quick even on a busy Friday night. 10/10, will be back when I'm in town.

We came today, April 1st 2021 around 5:00 PM after recommendations from others. The service was great. The employees were nice and prompt upon walking into the restaurant. However, the food not so much. We had 3 children with us. All chose the PBJ with fresh fruit on multigrain bread. The bread was lacking, and almost crunchy? The peanut butter tasted more like almond butter, Not very kid friendly. The fruit consist of grapes, pineapple with the peal and the core still in it. And a slice of orange. I had the smoked salmon bagel with fruit. $12 sandwich and had maybe 2.5 oz of smoked salmon. The boiled egg and bagel overpowered the lack luster salmon, and same issues with the fruit. My wife had the steak salad, it was actually good. I would recommend a revamp of your kids menu. The desserts looked great but after paying $50 for food that ended up in the trash I couldn’t bring myself to spend more money there.

Great, locally owned, business! Excellent staff, quality food, & wonderful atmosphere. Limited, but tasty menu, variety of homemade desserts, specialty tea's and coffee. The Table is a great place for lunch, or early dinner, outside seating available. If you're visiting downtown Asheboro, you have to try it.
