Bakeries should smell amazing when you walk in. Not this one. In addition, all the cookies we got tasted as though they had been sitting around in there for a few days. Not fresh at all!

With great food and a kind staff why would you not want to grab a treat here!

Everything item I purchase is always outstanding. Whether its pie, cake or cookies the taste is in the quality.

I was in Ashboro for a meeting and happened on Central Bakery to take home a treat. I got two simple gingerbread cookies... when I had them (yes, both..that good) last night with coffee, they made the world and EVERYthing seem better..hands down, best gingerbread I've ever had (don't tell my grandmom!) Plus my dog was crazy for their fresh dog biscuits, she gave them five drools.

I love the bakery! They are polite and the baked goods are amazing.
