I’ve been going to UMall (now University Place) for over 30 years. I went there looking for a birthday gift for my wife and had the worst shopping experience ever at Wentworth and Sloan. After waiting 20 minutes, I asked if there was anyone else helping customers and the old guy behind the counter (who was not helping anyone) was rude. When I replied that it’s usually customary to be polite to people who want to give you money, I was told to leave the store. I couldn’t believe it. If you look at reviews for Wentworth and Sloan you will see several reviews about rude or sketchy behavior. I and my family will not be returning to this mall again, which is unfortunate because it is the only mall in town and there are may great businesses there that we love: Silver Spot, Stoney River, Franks, Night Gallery, the Print shop, etc. There is no excuse for being rude. University Place should do something about Wentworth and Sloan before they alienate all the clientele for the entire mall. This mall will be losing many thousands of dollars a year from my family, until Wentworth and Sloan leaves.

I’ve lived in Chapel Hill and have be going to UMall (now University Place) for over 30 years. The staff at Wentworth and Sloan were so rude that I will not be going to this mall again until this store is closed or moves, which is unfortunate because it’s the only mall in town and there are many stores there that I like. Silver spot, Stoney River, Franks, Night Gallery, and the Print Shop are all excellent, however they will all lose my business because of Wentworth and Sloan. When you look at reviews of Wentworth and Sloan there are so many negative reviews about how rude and sketchy they are. This mall should do something about Wentworth and Sloan as their other businesses will be losing many thousands. I was literally thrown out of the store and told they didn’t want my money for saying it’s usually customary to be polite to someone who is trying to give you money. There is no excuse for the level of rudeness.

It would be a good place for an indoor motorcycle track other than that there's nothing there other than Chick-fil-A

Love visiting this smaller type mall. I don't have to walk a million miles. Inside mall. Has chick fil a, movie theater, bath and body works, Aveda, and some other small shops
