A beautiful city park right on the waterfront. Nicely developed with tennis courts, baseball diamonds. Free tent camping and more than reasonable RV spaces with or without electricity. Even a place to dump your tanks.
Perfect for a one night stay. Right by the river in the City of Pierre. Nice surprise.nThey could never do this in Seattle. It would be completely trashed.

Griffin Park is one of the few parks in Pierre that has big trees shading the playgrounds. I really like the stretch of beach along the river. There are plenty of places for picnics and parking.
Very nice and clean! Lots of activities to do! We want to come back and stay for a while next time!
