Don't get me wrong, I really love the bagels from this place. they are delicious. I've been to NYC a handful of times and these bagels taste about as authentic as they come down here in NC.nnBut with the NYC label comes NYC prices. And that is a significant deterrent for why I don't come here often. In my mind, 2 bagel sandwiches should not cost $17, especially if it's just the bagels. We're in a college town, in the south, with a lot of poor college students as the main clientele. If this place were cheaper, I'd come here all the time. But with the price points as they stand now, I can only make this a once every couple of months type stop.

I enjoy the small touches here, from a happy face on my bag that a staff member brought out to my table outside the restaurant to the name tags that list the staff members' favorite bagel.nnIt's genuinely a New York-style bagel with lots of cream cheese. The prices are not listed on the menu, but you honestly get what you pay for with your food.nnGlad to see a food entrepreneur taking a risk in this market.

After having lived in different places in the Triangle for over a decade, it is a real treat to finally have a New York bagel shop that's up to snuff - even better that it's so convenient. This is easily one of the best take-away breakfast spots in town. I dare say it gives hallowed Southern institutions like Sunrise Biscuits a run for the money, and it's easily the best option should the mood for bagels strike.nnThe best part is that instead of poor service you'd usually see at a breakfast place that does this level of volume, the service is excellent and friendly. Alex (the founder) is often there running out orders himself. With all the insipid chain restaurants taking over Chapel Hill, it's great to see a small business being run like an old-fashioned Chapel Hill business.

These bagels are incredible! Fully approved by my wife who grew up in New Jersey close to NYC and is a real bagel expert. Also some of the best customer service around I can't say enough good things. You can go with the safe classics like bacon egg and cheese and you'll love it but the more obscure fare like whitefish salad is amazing too. Enjoy!

Great website. Speedy service. Great curbside pick-up. Great bagels!! I went to their website this morning at 6:30 am to order a dozen bagels for curbside pick-up at 7:30. At 6:55, got an email saying my order was ready. As I drove up, a young lady came out and asked my name before I even had a chance to call. Within a minute, I was on my way home, the delicious smell of warm bagels wafting through my car.
