I loved my experience at Higgins & Myers! Emily is so knowledgeable and guided me through my first custom framing project with so much attention to detail and care. They're clearly masters of their craft! They spent almost an hour discussing options with me; different types of materials, aesthetics and budgeting - before we settled on the perfect matting and framing for my art. The finished product was delivered shortly after, and was stunning! The newly refurbished Shop is gorgeous and the Staff are very professional and talented.

What can I say? These guys are great. I've had both scanning and framing done here and I was pleased beyond belief with the results of both. Most recently I carried some of my own (really bad) artwork to them for framing. For starters, they did not laugh at the paintings. So, that was good. Then they worked closely with me to help me decide what I wanted to do with the work, offered a number of options for me to consider, then stood back and let me decide. When I had trouble making up my mind, I asked for their input and they humbly suggested what they thought might work best of all the possible scenarios.nnAnd boy, were they right! The result was fantastic. Now that I've got the piece home I just sit and stare at it, amazed at the difference a really good mat and frame job can make.nnAside from the quality of their work, they are just good, pleasant people to do business with, which counts for a lot in my book, too. Now I'm going through the house, looking for other stuff I can take to them. I wonder how this beat up frying pan might look in a nice frame. . . ?nnHighly recommend.

My niece gave me a painting for Christmas and I really wanted to honor it with a fancy frame. Luckily, I knew about the recent renovation of Higgins & Myers and brought that painting as well as two prints I had been procrastinating getting framed for the past year. One of the owners, Scott, helped me to personalize each piece and gave me ideas to really highlight the artwork. Plus they're dog friendly, so my little Nina got to come with me! I am tickled to death with the finished product and how professional they all look. My sweet little niece is going to die when she sees how much I valued her gift. An added cherry on top is that they included the hanging hardware for each frame! I was able to hang them as soon as I got home! I can't recommend Higgins & Myers more highly for their expert work and friendly charm!

Emily and Scott took an unusual piece of my work and made it shine with a fantastically creative presentation! An otherwise misfit piece I didn't know how to approach became the centerpiece of my show thanks to them. Great experience consulting and A+ for style and attitude! Thanks guys! Definitely will be back!

We are so happy that we went to Higgins & Myers for our custom framing. Scott and Emily are very professional and experts at what they do. Scott came up with several framing options for us. He was very goood at taking us through each option and telling us how he thought the option helped bring out the prints. He was very patient while we went back and forth on our decision. It was a first rate experience. I highly recommend Higgins & Myers to anybody in The Triangle who is looking for custom framing.
