Once you find your way past the obligatory hair, nail, and vape shops that seem to be in every small plaza you'll find one of the hidden gems of Carolina Beach and Monkey Junction. The Maine Lobster Roll Company. If you've ever spent time in Maine, this little establishment will bring you back home. Most small plazas don't have an anchor store. Austin Commons has the little lobster joint that brought fresh Maine Lobster to the beach. Check out The Maine Lobster Roll Company when you're ready to grab some takeout and head to the Boardwalk.
