You would think a bookstore for higher education would have staff that were educated enough to read orders correctly. I recieved the wrong book along with other classmates. Our class is 100 pages in and I have yet to see a single page. Susan Kline the general manager through email correspondence hasn't even apologized for the incompetence. They sent me an email on the 8th that order will be shipped on the 9th and will be recieved by the 10th its 10:15 pm on the tenth and I still haven't recieved the book. I have no idea why you can't go pick it up.You can go work out in a gym but can not pick up a book at a bookstore. I wouldnt even recommend cpcc for the predicament they put you in. Calling the school doesn't help no one answers there extensions.

There is no one available via phone to speak with you. The only option is email which can take 24 hours. If you have any urgent questions or concerns with your order, you’re out of luck.

I get things are changing with COVID. Having my order canceled because I choose to pick up but pick-up is not available is very frustrating. Make a simple note on the website not to choose that option OR take it off completely. Then to add to it the times i've had to contact them and the GM Susan Kline is very rude.

Customer service is very good and I am in and out quickly. I typically print out the ISBN of all of the books I need on one sheet of paper. I give it to the folks at the counter in the back of the store and they grab the books. From that point on, I look around a bit for other stuff I may want to buy and check out at the front of the store. Cashiers at the front of the store also give details on renting, buying, etc., which is good to save money.

Let's just say that I enjoyed my time while I was here. The staff is really nice and helpful, and they actually let you know that you might not need the book for the class you came in for. For example, I was getting a book for art appreciation and the man that helping me asks if the teacher didn't give you a online version for free, and being myself I forgot what the teacher had told me so I had to think about for a sec and ended up not buying the book and I will be forever in debt this the front desk guy because he saved me $120, what a man! And when I was checking out the cashier was nice and asked if I had gotten all the books I need so I wouldn't have to walk all the back to book store later.
