Villani's Bakery

Absolutely AMAZING bakery! So happy I found this place on a whim when the bakery I'd initially called (6 days before the special birthday) said they could not accommodate my request for a birthday cake.nnMy continued search brought me to Villani's. I called and from the moment they answered the phone, their warmth, friendly customer service and patience (as I decided what to order), made a major impression and I immediately felt at ease. They guided me through the decision to order the triple chocolate cake.nnThe triple Chocolate cake was everything....beautiful, delicious, moist. Best chocolate cake I've EVER had/eaten (and I'm a good home baker).nnVillani's will be my go to bakery (and my family members based in Charlotte) forever.

Really great bakery, cheese cake and coffee. Reasonable prices; super nice; knowledgeable and hard working team of employees. Visited with (an?) owner one day..... they were working the “ counter”.nNice discussion; they work hard; long hours; dedicated to their customers; dedicated to quality. Highly recommend.

I would ask you to pretend that you appreciate our business. The pastries were as good as described. We did not mind waiting outside for 15 to 20 minutes. The family and I chatted and joked around. No big deal. But once we got inside and spent $45 just on pastries for the family, The young man seem to be perturbed by everything. He was perturbed when we asked questions, he was perturbed when I asked where to pay, he was perturbed with the other young lady who didn’t hear the coffee order. I do not believe he wants to work there. The young ladies that were there were very nice and very helpful. This is definitely a five-star bakery with him not working there. The lobster tail was incredible, the cannoli was awesome, and the cream puffs were completely decadent (in a good way :)n!:Heads Up:! the male employee or the owners set it up to give a 20% tip. If you believe pointing into a pastry case and they putting your selection into a box warrants a different percentage then You have to notice that the 20% is selected and then choose another amount.

Villani's is a nice little bakery nestled between the rain tracks and the road. Only two people are allowed in at a time right now, this can lead to long waits. The baked goods are worth the wait! Their black and white cookie is phenomenal! The cheesecake was a bit of a letdown, probably because my group had built it up to be the best thing on earth! Pricing is between fair and high. I would recommend sticking to the baked goods and passing on the cheesecake.

I just left about 10 minutes ago and couldn’t help myself from taste testing in the car. Can confirm it tastes even better than everything looks! This was my first visit and we will absolutely be going back.
