This is one of the better overlooks along the Blue Ridge Parkway, offering largely unobstructed views both east and south. The latter includes an outstanding view of Looking Glass Rock.

Just like all the overlooks on the Blue Ridge Parkway this is just another beautiful one. Some of them very as to your enjoyment of the view by the time of day and also if the sky is clear. Easy access on and off of the Blue Ridge Parkway so it's too easy not to stop and look! We stopped it almost everyone and if the view wasn't just what we wanted we just moved on to the next one.
