My husband and I came to Emerald Isle to celebrate my recent retirement and that big 50th birthday everyone talks about. I was so content with the trip and was ecstatic with being here and couldn't ask for anything more. However unbeknown to me my husband surprised me with a trip JR Dunn Jewelers. From the instant we walked in we felt like we were old friends with the two ladies working. They were so polite, kind, and genuinely interested in what brought us to the Isle and then their store. Being the best husband ever he informed the ladies of my retirement and birthday and said I want to find a very special piece to celebrate her and her accomplishments. I was stunned and nervous but they immediately made me feel special and again were genuinely happy for me! I was unsure of what to pick but they knew their inventory and listened to my likes and escorted me through the store showing me different pieces. At the end I couldn't pick exactly what I wanted and closing times was within 15 minutes. My husband was worried about holding them past their closing time and they kept reassuring him we were not a problem and were more than willing to stay until I got what I specifically wanted. They even offered to bring a piece from their other store so I could see it the next day. I mean you just don't find this type of customer service anymore!! The world needs more kind people like these two ladies. At the end I got a beautiful necklace and earring set from and Italian artist. It's both stunning and gorgeous!! Like I said above the customer service was more than unexpected, their patience just can't be matched, and their knowledge was above and beyond. Thank you JR Dunn Jewelers and the two sweet ladies who made my celebration more than I could have imagined! Bravo to you!

Was shopping for a simple necklace for my 35th anniversary that symbolized our recent move to EI. Bonnie was incredibly helpful, made numerous calls to get a piece custom made and was so very patient with my indecision. Can't wait to see the final product.nnI've also had a few repairs done with no issue and have purchased from their abundant LeStage collection.nnWould highly recommend shopping this local jeweler as they have an abundant selection and will work with you to find exactly what you want. I expected a junk Jeweler on the island but the merchadice here is always very nice. I don't think they any more expensive than my local jeweler. They have some beautiful items the are ocean oriented and the salespeople are always very nice. Be aware, they get very busy!

I went into the store looking for a sapphire pendant for my mother. My father passed away 16 years ago and he always bought her sapphire jewelry. A year ago some one broke into the house and took all of it from my mother and I thought this would be the perfect way to show her how much I love her. The ladies who helped me pick out my peice were amazing and so sweet! They made my shopping experience totally stress free and I am so thankful for them. My mom loved the necklace. Thank you!
