If you can handle the bumpy rugged roads to get here, you will have an absolute blast. This trail is very well maintained, and features waterfalls as well as a swimming hole at the bottom.nnDown the hike at the main opening there are four waterfalls, one in each direction, with lots of sky for sunlight. Very unique trail (although a lot of trails in the Blue Ridge Parkway are unique).nnThere are two trees with perfect distance to tie a hammock between them, so if you're planning to spend the day there I highly recommend that ud83dudc4d

Nice hike down to a sweet little swimming hole. Coming back up is a little more painful than down, but not bad. Be careful at the bottom, rocks can be slippery.

Nice trail and well maintained. It is less than a mile of distance from the parking lot to the falls. Going back to the parking lot is harder as it is all up hill good workout.nnWe loved to visit the falls and enjoyed nature.nThere are a bunch of trees and plants, will be nice to know the names of them, perhaps adding a label on some specific ones?

Hike is worth it. Great swimming hole down there with great falls.

Good parking but gets crowded on weekends.
