Sigler Funeral Home

I was so disappointed when I went to Seigler Funeral Home. Was meet by the owner in a pair of shorts and tee shirt. Very unprofessional. Not very friendly and told me he would not put my husband’s ashes in the urn I had because I did not purchase it from him. Said he had done that in the past and was accused of damaging the urn and had to replace it. It took over a week to get my husband’s ashes. When I went to pick them up I did take my urn in hopes he would help me. I told his wife I would sign a paper releasing him from any liability. He came in while I was talking to her and then I ask him would he put them in for me. He said since his wife heard me say I would not hold him accountable for any damage he would do it. He didn’t seem very happy to do it. I ask him if I could come back with him. He said if I was going to do that why didn’t I just put his ashes in myself. Told me to wait in Lobby. His wife was really nice and ask me to sign a release form for my huaband’s ashes. She went back and got my urn and opened the door for me. Was very nice. I never saw the owner again. I’m sorry but I have been to other funeral homes before and have never felt like what I was going through mattered. I will never use this funeral home again nor will I recommend it to anyone. I don’t care how long you have been in business you were very unprofessional. I guess you have to spend thousand of dollars to get the professional service. If they have one. Just my opinion.
