Pop's Blue Moon

I've been to a whole host of South City dive bars in the last 15 years, and I'd never been to Pop's Blue Moon. It was specifically avoided, as I thought it was some sort of annex to Pop's in Sauget. This error in thought caused me to miss out on what I'm sure would have been many fun and interesting evening's at PBM.nnWe went and checked out a socially distanced sidewalk show, which was just the right thing for a lazy evening out (for the first time in months). Drinks were stiff and reasonably priced, I'll definitely keep my eye out for further events!

Fantastic place to hear great local bands and drink cheap beer. Bring cash. No cc excepted.

Perfect little neighborhood 'dive bar'. Don't go looking for 'craft cocktails' or a 30 page wine list. Don't go for food, either. And make SURE that you bring cash: no debit/credit cards taken as payment.nBut if you're looking for an alternative to the crowded bars where your feet are stepped on and drinks are spilled on you, this place is one to consider.nLocal acts play there on the weekends, and depending on who is playing and the position of the moon and stars the place might be packed or you might be the only people there. Either way, it's definitely 'cozy'. I'll be back...

Cool little dive bar in the best sense of the word. Will definitely be back!
