After our first choice of venue fell through we stumbled upon Historic Oakland by luck and I am so glad we did! This place was absolutely perfect for our wedding.nnWe decided on a January ceremony so we did not use the patio or outdoor space. But to be honest it was not needed for our small 50 person service. The space inside perfectly accommodated us. We loved the detail and charm of the mansion. Yes it is an old building but that just added to the character in our opinion. Several of our guests even commented about the beauty and charm of the mansion.nnCustomer service was top notch with LaTasha. Every email was answered promptly. During our final visit and contract signing before our ceremony she took her time and explained clearly what was and was not available. She also made clear what our responsibilities were.nnThank you team at Historic Oakland!

Not only is it a beautiful place but I must say LaTasha is definitely the face of this place from day one she was nothing but a pleasant spirit to deal with.. During this pandemic ( a brides worst nightmare) LaTasha was responsive, caring, and professional.. My special day was made because of her.. oh yeAh it’s a beautiful venue as well all that a bride could ask for!!!!

My husband and I got married on September 18th 2020, from the moment we inquired about the venue back in October 2019, LaTasha has been a gem and made the process so smooth and stress free. She was always easily available to answer any questions and replied in a timely manner. When COVID hit she was also constantly getting me up to speed and communicating with me via email. My husband was thrilled as well with the few times he spoke with Lori of how kind she was and helped us out a lot! Our wedding was truly a dream come true and while I know they must hear this a lot, we are definitely another happy couple who had their dream turn into a reality at Historic Oakland. The interior antique charm and outdoor greenery made it a magical place to capture! The entire team is AMAAAAZING, HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO BOOK FOR YOUR NEXT EVENT!
