I really miss the grooming service at this Petco location at Columbia, Maryland. The groomers are beyond friendly, experienced, caring, polite, attentive, thorough and gentle with your pet. They take their time to get to know you and your dog’s personality/background if you are a new customer to ensure to provide the best service for your dog. My dog’s personality is very sweet but a little nervous with every routine bath. They always worked their way around to make her feel comfortable and welcomed, specially as a senior dog. I was happy to be their customer for a couple of years until I had to move.

I don't normally go to Petco but I was quite impressed. They had the dog food I needed, Pro Plan - Salmon - SMALL BITES.... The price was not bad either. They had Bob's products for dogs & Cats and even for us, people too.... people were very nice & Friendly.

Good service for grooming. Just wish they told us we would need to bring updated vaccination record for our puppy. We had to go back home and come back so they would take her. This was only one time though. Another separate time, they forgot to pluck our puppy's ears. I did forget to remind them that day, but I was told before that it's included plus I thought they'd maybe have internal notes about that. I mentioned it the next visit, and the stylist made sure that it was done. This last, recent visit a few weeks ago, our puppy had a few nicks on her tummy, probably from a close shave, but nothing serious looking. It healed and looked all better in a day or 2. Would recommend, but be sure to call for an appointment or schedule in-store. Whenever I use the Petco app, lately it has been saying there's no availability for 1 month, but when I call to schedule, I was able to get in within that week. Probably a technical issue with the app. Otherwise I recommend this Petco for grooming. Their dog school for lessons is also great. Derrick (sorry if I misspelled) is a great and helpful teacher. We did adult dog level 1 class with our dog. Highly recommend Petco over the PetSmart in Columbia. Apparently, someone got their dog stolen from them in front of PetSmart and the employees didn't help the customer. Go to Petco instead.

I get my Eukanuba dog food from this store. It's always super clean and so far the cashiers have been super cool. I enjoy the huge selection or dog toys and treats. Aquarium fish selection is nice. There's always something on sale. There's a doggy salon on site too. I like this place.
