Sam at Motion Edge helped me manage a nagging hamstring while training for a recent marathon. Tissue scraping and cupping after my long runs, and after the race itself, helped me recover quicker than usual. I highly recommend their recovery sessions for injury prevention during race training, not just therapy after an injury! Very convenient scheduling, location, and communication.

Sam and Mel are unlike any other physical therapists. They spend time knowing the full context of your problems. Other therapists I've been to seem like they just want you in and out.nnI have a long history of ankle sprains from basketball and overall exercise.nnBoth gave me an extensive recovery regimen that helped me recover faster than ever.nnI 100% will contact them again in the future should any other issues occur

A little over a month out from my marathon, my knee started to lock up during my runs. I thought I wasn't going to be able to run the marathon, but a friend suggested that I go see Sam at Motion Edge. Sam is so knowledgeable, friendly, and encouraging. He worked with me during the weeks leading up to my marathon, Sam helped me strengthen my muscles and gave me several tips to help prevent future injuries. Thanks to his help, I was able to run my first marathon with no knee pain.

I was running yesterday and my right groin and lower back started to hurt. I have a race this upcoming weekend and was worried about what it could be. I contacted Motion Edge and they got me in for an appointment right away! They were extremely thorough and knowledgable and treated me with tremendous care. I highly recommend Melanie and Sam!

Towards the end of my marathon training, my hip started to hurt during long runs. Sam explained what was going on, helped relieve my pain with a range of PT technique (like graston and deep tissue massage), and gave me exercises to help strengthen my hips. He also followed up to make sure everything was going well and to see how my race went!
