Martin French from the planning office was amazing in assisting me with my questions. I was new to the state and he was very informative and patient. It's rare to get a city office employee that is THIS Knowledgeable, That willing to assist and tries to make himself that Available (No voicemail wasteland). I am a spring graduate of tge Baltimore Planning Academy! Run by Stephanie and Elina and all of the truly extraordinary people who work at the Baltimore Planning Department. They CARE about tge people and tge city of Baltimore!

Too much beaucracy involved in getting a simple permit. A resident getting simple windows needs a building permit. Took the day off work only to find out the planner and the back up planner were in a meeting. Meeting was supposed to end at 4, but they never returned. Had to come back again the next day. They seem to forget who they serve.
