Reginald F. Lewis Museum

I visited this museum a few weeks ago and I loved it! My fiancé had mentioned it before and we finally had a chance to go and I’m really glad we did. This is not only a great Black American history museum, but it also gives a good look into the history of black Marylanders which was very interesting. I also like that it’s very modern and up to date with current events. I always learn so much when I visit these museums. I definitely recommend you stop by when you’re in Baltimore!

Be ready to learn a whole lot about African American Slave history and so well portrayed. We brought our son here since he's never been here and we would come back again. There's always alot to learn from museum whether about culture or arts.

Amazing black history specific to the marlyland region. Great exhibits. Eye opening-especially to see chains, other artifacts, and to see the RECENT local history. Must see for all those in the area.nn#Sankofa

Absolutely loved this museum! We waited for standby tickets about 45mins before they opened on a Friday, and had no issues getting in. There isn't a ton of exhibits to go through if you compare it to something like the Met in NYC, but it has enough to satisfy your crave without getting museumed out.
