Nice trails. A lot of dog walkers and bike riders. Even has a horse trail. Didn’t quite finish the longer trail, will have to go back, ran out of time. Didn’t see a whole lot of wildlife but we did see a 7-8 foot gator just chilling along the banks of the water!! Will go back to complete the longer trail and hope to see more.

Great place for nice hike. The 5.5 mile loop is nicely shaded. Excellent place to walk a dog. The WWII ammunition storage bunkers are interesting structures. Beautiful cypress trees!

Gorgeous park with a treat at the end with three ways to get there. Geocachers will also find several caches on the primary trail. If you have the time please volunteer to help maintain the area.

Woodlands is a very easy trail with a good bit of nature. At the back of the trail, there's old ammunitions bunkers. You can go into them. The trail is mainly flat with a little bit of mud(you're in South Louisiana). Watch out for snakes. We saw 4 but that was all for how long the trail is. The straight shot is short and we'll traveled. The walk parrarel to the levee was much longer and less traveled aka grown up with more small trees down that blocked the path some. Bring the kids and show them a little history.

Needs updated should do a high rise trail with wood chips and channel rain water with streams jus saying would be easy and not much funding I'd volunteer to help cause it's a go to spot except when its rained
