My dear friend Carla has been here for a good while, it took almost 4 months before she found a place where she was comfortable and fit in, she loves it here and so does her family and myself.. The staff is literally her family, these Nurses and CNA are angles in our eyes .. Class act all the way

Food very poor colonian oaks can serve hamburgers over 1000 ways if you love RICE this is the place, gravey is never served, chicken is serviced 3/4 times a week most meats are over cooked and very tuff and hard to eat bring a knife from home food mostly cold when it gets to the room, you may need a microwave in your room.aids are good but slow to respond.

My Mom was is this facility for rehab after her stroke. The rehab is excellent! (thanks Lydia) The rehab nurses are extremely tentative and super friendly. Mom received intense therapy 5 days a week, for multiple times a day. This was the best therapy after a stroke. Even in the mist of this major pandemic, she continued to receive excellent care. We are proud to say, she graduated from rehab today. We can’t thank the staff enough for making her stronger to leave the facility.nThe administration here is awesome! The director of nursing (don) addressed everyone of my concerns (And I had a lot) and always let us know how much she cared for us and our happiness. Jo is the mother of the place, she surrounds you with comfort and ensures your happiness. Robin welcomes us while we were in the hospital and continued to make sure we were happy. Jamie made sure I got my nanny cam hooked up so I could check in Mom every day (multiple times a day). The RN nurses take calls and answer questions. The CNAs are HARD WORKERS and should receive medals for all they do. Don’t get me wrong, there are some better than others. But for the most part, they do there best. A couple of the CNAs formed a special relationship With Mom, especially Renee. The facility is clean, the maintenance guy (thanks Mike) fixed anything that went wrong, the kitchen handled mom’s special diet and always made sure she had OJ. They handled all her Landry needs, showered three times a week) this place sure took care of my Mom and we will be forever thankful. If someone asks if I’d recommend this place, hands down I would definitely say YES. If you go, meet with administrator, get a nanny cam, and visit a lot (once things open back up). Thank you Colonial Oaks!

If you truly love your family member and want the best care possible in their last years... please do not send them here.... the building and rooms are pretty and they know exactly what to say to bring you in but the care is horrible... and their ability to offer hospice care is non existent. They are at the facility strictly for a paycheck and care very little for the comfort of your loved one. If I could give negative stars... I would. My moms belongings were taken, she had several falls from neglect and went from talking and trying to get better to hospice in 2 month in their care...if I could change anything... I would never have let my mom go there....we did get her out of there and she is spending her last days in a beautiful serene place with family around her. Moving her was the best decision we could have made. Update... my mom passed away 36 hours after moving from this horrid place. I truly believe she would still be here if we had never placed her here...

My dad has been here over a year. This has been the best place, the nursing staff is on top of everything. It doesn't smell! And everyone is great.
