poor customer service staff not friendly

I took my son to this location to purchase a small refrigerator. He was very excited, as he saved his allowance for this item. The price on the sign was $129.00. While checking out it scanned for $169.00. I notified the cashier of the price discrepancy. I also walked back to the location where we found the fridge. There were two prices listed. On the side that my son and I saw, it was $129.00. On the other side of the sign was $169.00. I told the cashier that we didn't see the other side. (There were four of the same fridges and no other items on the platform.) My main focus was to attempt to lift this fridge along with my 12 yr old son without dropping it. I kindly asked to speak with the manager. I explained to her the issue and she refused to honor the price that I saw initially. I asked for my entire purchase to be refunded, as I paid for my items separately. She informed me that customer service was closed. I asked her how was I going to be refunded my money. I was advised that I would have to return tomorrow. After stating this she called for another manager. I also informed her about the discrepancy. She told me the same thing as the first manager. I also let her know that the initial manager that I spoke with told me that I would have to return for a refund. This turned out to be a complete lie. Instead of honoring the price, which was a $40.00 difference; they chose to loose out on almost $300.00 worth of merchandise. The refund took forever as they had to scan each item individually. Overall I wasted 1hr of my time because of someone elses mistake. I will NEVER return to this location that I once loved and patronized frequently. Shoppers beware of false advertising.

Even with everything going on I can get in and out of this store In pretty good time. The staff have always been nice and the store is always clean
