I am extremely dissatisfied with the level of service I’ve received from this salon and I haven’t even gotten the chance to come in for an appointment. I’ve received multiple emails/reminders about my appointment and to receive a call from the scheduled stylist less than 12 hours before my appointment at 10:28 AM when my appointment is scheduled for 12:50 PM is infuriating. Janay did my hair during my first time there and she was amazing, and I took a chance scheduling with one of their other stylists Stacia, but this has completely turned me off from this salon and I doubt I’ll ever return there to do business or get serviced. This is a huge inconvenience and I understand things are a little out of whack right now due to Covid-19 and everything else but it’s inexcusable that you “didn’t see my scheduled appointment until today.” Nobody is working at the salon or checking the calendar? Spend your money somewhere else, Atlanta is full of other great, responsible hair stylists.

Great staff! Great atmosphere! Janay is awesome, she did a great job on my no knot box braids, I have received tons of compliments. Blonde Elk treated me like a VIP from start to finish. I have found my new salon home. Thanks again ladies!

The upside is the salon is beautiful, the staff are friendly, and the booking process is extremely easy. The downside is I booked a $25 cut and did not know that the shampoo was not included (at no point did anyone bother to tell me this) ….and was surprised to find out during checkout that a wash for my short hair was an additional $45. This did not include a deep condition or anything special, just a regular wash and condition. IF I would've been informed that the wash was additional … I would've declined since I really only needed a cut to even out my style. I was referred via social media but I see that experience may vary …. I will likely not be returning due to the lack of transparency.nn**UPDATE**nAfter initially responding to my review and requesting me to communicate w. them via email or phone to correct the above issue, I have yet to actually receive a reply...and I see that they've subsequently erased THEIR reply. Thankfully, it's still in my email and it'll serve as a reminder to not do business with an establishment that is neither transparent, honest, nor customer focused.
