My experience with Clothes Mentor today was extremely insulting! I wanted to sell some clothing items; brands such as Zara, Pretty Little Things, F21, etc. Most of the items still had the tags attached and have never been worn. After about 45 minutes, I was told that they couldn’t buy any of my items because they needed to be washed! So clothing items that have never been worn needs to be washed? My house is smoke-free so there wouldn’t be any lingering odors on my clothes. Also, I called beforehand and was told all clothing items needed to be brought in a laundry bag or a plastic storage container. I saw a few people bring in clothing items in a regular shopping bag and not as instructed. I’m really disappointed with these discriminatory practices by Clothes Mentor! *Edited to add that I took those same clothing items to Plato’s Closet the same day and they accepted the items and paid me a reasonable cash price! Think twice before supporting Clothes Mentor!

Clothes Mentor Buford is by far my favorite place to shop! Aside from the great variety of clothing, shoes, bags. etc., the management and staff at this store is superior to any retail store I have ever shopped at - including high-end boutiques and department stores. The customer service sets an example that all stores should follow. They do it right and I always feel welcome! Love you all!

I tried the personal shopper service. It was very easy and fun. It started off with me going on line to the Clothes Mentor website, the general website, not the specific Buford site. I filled out a form online giving them some information about my taste in clothes and sizes. After I submitted that the store got in contact with me to find out when I could come in. I went in just a day later. I worked with Rachel, who was great. When I first came into the store, she already had a few outfits picked out for me based off of what I had submitted online. We talked for a few minutes so she could get more of idea of what I would like. I started trying on outfits. As I tried on clothes Rachel continued to pull outfits based on what was working and not working. All the outfits she pulled where very stylish and just what I was looking. I ended up with a couple of outfits that I really like. I am not a big fan of clothes shopping, but Rachel made it fun. I will definitely be doing this again with Rachel!

Such a great place to find gently used high end name brand items! I am a huge Michael Kors fans and I found so many purses and fun accessories there! I am going to be back very soon, for sure!
