Issues I ran into with Ideal Therapy:n-We had the evaluation for speech therapy services via zoom. My 2 year old did not interact with the worker via zoom. He did not want to interact with the worker. Instead of saying that we should attempt the evaluation in person, they just knocked off points so it looked like my child needed more services than he actually needed.n-They have a high staff turnover rate. Including the evaluation, we had 5 sessions with Ideal Therapy. My son had 3 different workers. The last worker we had, he was actually held a doctorate in the field, was a great speech therapist. He interacted with my child and really gave good pointers during the sessions (minus the last one but I’ll get to that momentarily). However, based on Ideal Therapy’s website, he no longer works there. Once again proving the high turnover rate point.n-The billing manager, Amanda. Before I utilized Ideal Therapy, I asked about the price of the evaluation and the services. I was quoted a price. Come to find out, the evaluation was actually DOUBLE and the services were also higher than I was quoted. Every session I asked about the itemized statement because it never looked like what I was quoted before we started services. I was always given some sort of explanation by the front desk that basically the statements were incorrect and that I was actually paying for everything like I had been quoted. After the third session, I spoke to the front staff worker and asked her if we were up to date on payments. Like, there would be no further payments. I was told that I was correct. However, we showed up at our 4th and final appointment and I was pulled into Amanda’s office. She sat me down and broke down all the statements and that’s when I found out that everything was higher than I was quoted. Not only that, I still owed them two more payments because I wasn’t up to date on paying for the sessions like I was previously advised. When I went through everything with her about what I was told, she shrugged her shoulders and said there was nothing she could do. I spoke to my sister-in-law later who works in billing at a medical office. She advised me that this was absolutely incorrect. She could uphold the original price that I was quoted. At the time of my conversation with Amanda, I advised her that this would be our last session. She pulled the speech therapist out of the session with my son after I advised her of that. She spent the entire length of our 30 minute appointment with the therapist. When the therapist came back into the room, he printed off “homework” for us and sent us home. We didn’t even get a last session due to Amanda in billing. However, they still billed for the entire session.n-The owner of the company will not contact you back if you have a grievance. After everything with Amanda, I spoke to the office manager. She advised me that she would speak to the office manager and the billing manager and see what they could do about the services. I was never contacted back. I had to contact them back after a couple of months when I never heard anything or received any further billing in the mail. I assumed after not hearing anything that they just cleared the account like the office manager and I previously discussed. When I finally contacted them back, I was advised that they had done nothing and they actually sent me bills in the mail (which I never received but yet somehow I received the letter they sent to me saying that my credit card information might have been compromised by their system during the time that we were receiving services). I once again was forced to interact with Amanda regarding billing. She said that she would contact the owner and get back with me. I never was contacted back so I had to follow up again. I was advised once again that there was nothing they could do. I had to just pay the bill. I advised them that I wanted to speak with the owner. They told me that they would leave her a message and I was welcome to email her. I emailed and called multiple times and never received a call back.

My granddaughters therapist is great. Our problem seems to be that we can never get an appointment. No matter what I try . With the issues that we are facing it is important to have this therapy. I feel like they dont do anything to accommodate the patient at all.

Ideal Therapy group have the most amazing staff. The energy they pass off within this office is contagious in the most humble way. My son and I absolutely love this place and couldn't imagine being any other place. They are considerate, patient, and professional.nKeep doing the awesome job that you guys do.

I love ideal therapy! The staff is very friendly. My son loves his therapist. Jessica, Kayla, Brittany and Samson is so friendly. They put the needs of my son first. He receives speech and occupational therapy. So far it has been a great experience. I’m so happy I picked this place for my son “Ronnie” to receive therapy. I love you guys!
