Clerk wouldn’t even tape 3” x 5” address card to box, nor attach shipping label. Seems to delight in being caustic and using minimal amount of effort. This location strives for mediocrity and rarely attains it.
I had a parking ticket end up in the post office’s dropbox and instead of contacting the person on the ticket or returning the envelope to the City Hall, someone must have just pocketed the money. My $15 ticket turned into a $45 one. So that was nice and of course when I went in to inquire about it, no one knew anything about seeing a bright, orange-colored envelope with money in it. Needless to say, one of the workers got a nice tip..
Super helpful, called to get a new mail key/lock and they were all over it!
The Post Office in Vermillion is professionally run the personnel there are always courteous and efficient. Our home delivered mail person is always courteous and has even covered a piece of mail with postage due and left a little envelope to reimburse the cost that they covered for us. The only problem that we have encountered is with the mailbox drop on Plum Street near the Prentis Park. Mail seems to repeatedly get very late delivery from there.
They desperately need more than one person working the windows. There are regularly long lines and customers who frequently have complicated mailings.
