You got a clean and happening town Vermillion. Your muni cops seem to be alright. That University Police is a different story. But this review is about Vermillion. I like that you still have the drunk bus all these years later. Keep up the good presence (from a non-resident) perspective that is.

Archaic governance. City services are not available online, the recycling program is minimalist (will not pickup from apartment complexes, recycling cannot be mixed) and input from the citizenry is rarely taken into account. Additionally, the disturbing policies of the city police department are openly encouraged by city officials (e.g. stop and frisk without cause).

In 2019 where you can pay your bills over the phone or online, the electric company is in the dark ages. You have to either go and take cash out of atm or give them a check. To pay my electric bill i have to take the transit to an atm than take the transit to city hall and than take the transit home. Rediculous.
