Revive Physiotherapy

I want to let everyone know about my wonderful experience at Revive Physiotherapy! I was having severe pain in both of my shoulders. The pain was very intense and kept me awake at night. I went to a well known doctor in Jacksonville and he prescribed physical therapy with a possibility of surgery. I went to a PT office in Jacksonville and spent 4 weeks doing PT and received zero relief. I felt like I was just a number because the therapist was seeing me and several other patients at the same time. The doctors had no clear diagnosis but wanted to do exploratory surgery on my right shoulder. I have no interest in unnecessary surgery. I looked for alternatives that might help. My wife found Revive Physiotherapy on the internet. I made an appt and met with the owner Catherine Rada. I noticed right from the start her professionalism and that she truly wanted to help me with my injuries. I started the physical therapy program with Catherine that focused on stretching different muscle groups and working on specific joints and their movements. While I was there I received one on one care since she only sees one patient at a time. She has helped me strengthen my shoulders and found other problematic areas that were also hindering my movement. She showed me many different workouts and stretches that I could do that would help me heal and stay pain free. After 3 months of work with Catherine at Revive I was feeling much better and was able to get my shoulder mobility back. I have kept up everything that she showed me how to do and I am now completely pain free. Best of all I no longer have to think about surgery and the long recovery.

Having lived with terrible elbow pain (golfer's elbow/tennis elbow) for close to 1.5 years and after 2 failed cortisone shots, I was skeptical that I would ever regain the upper body mobility I once had. I am happy to share that Dr. Rada's treatment and exercise regimen have improved my elbow pain and mobility by at least 80%. I am back to doing pull-ups - a movement I thought would only be in my past! I am so pleased with my care and results!

The short review: Catherine Rada of Revive Physiotherapy is thorough, knowledgeable, and has helped me to dramatically improve my back health after several years of cyclical re-injury and pain. I highly recommend her and wish I had pulled the trigger on hiring a great physio like Catherine years earlier.nnThe Long review: Several years ago I herniated a few discs in the lower back causing serious pain and limiting a lot of my activities. Through my own trial and lots of error I was able to rehab it to a pain free state but was only able to maintain it as such for 4 to 6 months at a time before re-injury. After the latest back “tweak” I decided that I was sick of the fragile state of my back and continuing to re-injure myself.nnI set up an initial appointment with Catherine during which she conducted a thorough diagnostic going over my initial injury, lifestyle, exercise routine, and evaluating my current range of motion, or lack thereof. I have never had the feeling during my time at Revive that I was getting “prepackaged” care, everything is tailored to my situation and current state. Each appointment Catherine revaluates progress and I get sent home with a plan that arms me with the ability to rehab, stretch and strengthen myself between sessions. Catherine also takes videos of each prescribed exercise, which is great for reference during the week, in that it allows me to make sure I’m doing everything correctly.nnSince starting therapy at Revive my back health has markedly improved to the point that I have started doing activities that pre therapy would consistently cause me pain and re-injury. With each session I see continued improvements and I’m confident in Catherine’s ability to continue challenging me and helping me to strengthen my back and the correlating body parts that contribute to its health and function.nnLastly Catherine is very kind, professional, punctual, and accommodating to my schedule. She makes herself available for questions during the week and responds quickly to calls and messages. I have had nothing but a positive experience with Revive!

I would highly recommend Trent Salo. I have been working with him for the last few months to get my knee ready for snow skiing after taring my PCL last year. His approach to my physical therapy has been success oriented with incremental, definable goals. His instruction has been clear and professional - it is obvious that he cares about my well-being.
