Key West Aquarium

We didn't realize how small this place was. It's basically one room with a bunch of small tanks and a couple medium sized ponds in the middle. I appreciate that they've adapted the Depression-era building, but my son was disappointed that it was so small. We've been spoiled by amazing aquariums in larger markets, but this was just too small. The larger animals looked a little cramped in their small ponds.nnThey still had some cool things to see. So it's worth going. Just realize that it's a 15-20 minute activity.

Not much to see. I’m not sure if COVID was the reason but some of the exhibits were closed/gone. About 15 tanks with fish, 2 large pools, sharks and turtles. We did enjoy the educational tutorial about nurse sharks and turtles. But probably not worth the price of admission.

Cute and very small aquarium. About 15 dollars for an adult. You can see the whole place in under an hour. So why 4 stars for an aquarium not much better than your local Bass Pro Shop? DOG FRIENDLY is why. My dog had such a good time! He was very excited to check out each display and to try and chomp the fish (through glass). The best part was the turtle and shark tanks in the middle of the building. Watching him freak out and bark at the large sea turtles made it all worth while.

This is a nice place to take the family of you want to check out the ocean life up close. The entire family will find something they love about this tourist stop on your vacation route.

Great little gem with dedicated employees. I hope they are able to expand & maintain the great thing that they have here.
