After spending over $4,000 dollars in this store, the owner had the audacity to charge me $18.00 for a ring guard! I was completely stunned but paid him. When I came back to pick up my necklace which was on layaway, I brought this to his attention. His memory was very foggy of the incident. However, he remembered the amount of my deposit for the necklace off the top of his head. His wife was very gracious and did refund my money for the ring guard and said they wanted to win my business back. Her husband was pretty silent through the conversation. I also can't help but think there was some homophobia going on since I mentioned this was a gift for my wife. They vehemently denied that. But I read reviews where they fixed people's jewelry free of charge. I wonder why I was not afforded the same courtesy? Nevertheless, Gregory's has left a bad taste in my mouth I will never shop there again.
