Office staff was nice. Lobby and exam room were dirty. Needed to be swept. Exam room had several nail clippings on floor when we came in. Counter was not wiped down. Both nurse and Dr placed their used gloves ON the counter instead of throwing them away. Dr gave me a hard time about having gel nail polish one (which I did try to remove before appointment). He was also short with me and wouldn’t let me explain why I was there. We ended up leaving before the procedure began.

One star is way too much for the attitude this man has. If you like to be treated with care and concern in moment of pain, Dr. Herbst is not a doctor you want to see.

Great front desk young lady- really considerate and easy to get an emergency appointment. Doctor is also very pleasant, knows his stuff and doesn’t jump to a huge ordeal when it can be just a simple fix, AND won’t throw you out if you may have other medical complications. Not a really bad wait for (1 hour) an emergency appointment. Helped my husband too to avoid a surgery and now he’s perfectly fine! Well done!

If the last reviewer was so unhappy, why did you stay with this physician? Dr.'s are your choice! Not happy? Find another. I have found Dr. Herbst to be caring, honest, and intelligent. The choice is yours...like him, lothe him but most importantly, find someone you're happy with. Best of luck!

I used the office in Mandarin on San Jose. This office is horrible. The staff lies and does not do what they tell you they are going to do. I've had to pay in full out of pocket. I would warn anyone about using the Mandarin location on San Jose Blvd.
