Everyone is friendly. I worship here and now we are on zoom for our worship.

Temple Emanuel is a warm, inviting, and very accepting Conservative Synagogue. With unique and outstanding programming for adults, and an amazing professional religious school for kids, it truly offers something for everyone. The services at TE are spiritual, but not at all stuffy. In every way, this is the Temple at the Beach where all are encouraged to come, relax, and enjoy the family atmosphere while enjoying the meaningful services and programs.

My family has been a member of Temple Emmanuel for just over 3 years now. While we live very close to two other Synagogues, we have always felt welcomed, safe, and happy to be a part of Temple Emmanuel. There are always events to participate in from Shabbat services, round table discussions, volunteer opportunities, and the youth group. Our four children have all enjoyed and benefited from the Hebrew school that meets multiple times a week. From our 14 year old, who just had her Bat Mitzvah, to our 3 year old who often tries to crash her siblings classes, and is often welcomed. The feeling of community and belonging is extended to both Jews and non Jews alike. The diversity of this Temple is both encouraging and welcoming to those who feel neglected elsewhere. . Rabbi Marc is a wonderful, knowledgeable, and kind person who has been ever helpful to my family in many ways. In short my large family has found another family to be part of at temple Emmanuel and I can only encourage those seeking a place of worship to come and check out what Temple Emmanuel and its congregants have to offer.

We drive 45 minutes just to attend this religious school. I love the warm atmosphere, the caring teachers and Rabbi, and my children look forward to it each week! I feel very lucky to be part of such a kind and open-minded community where we feel welcomed each time we step through the doors. It feels like home.

Temple Emanuel is a warm welcoming conservative synagogue. Everyone is super friendly. The rabbi is great. At Shabbat services the age range seemed to be newborn to 90 something and everyone gets along. It isn’t clicky like some temples I’ve been to before! Hebrew school is amazing! They actually meet in person for 5 hours a week!!! I know others meet once a week and then do stuff online. Also, my kids love the youth group! Just finished dropping my son off at Motor World with the youth group which means he gets to spend the day hanging out with a bunch of Jewish friends. My favorite thing about Temple Emanuel is that it’s a come as you are kinda place. People were wearing everything from shorts to shirts and ties to services. Jews and non Jews are welcome and nobody is shunned. Being in an interfaith marriage, this is super important to me. It’s pretty cool when everyone from my non Jewish wife, to my 10 year old daughter, to my 70 year old mother feel comfortable and enjoy being there!!!
