Extra Space Storage

I feel very safe with storing my house here. The manager was great and friendly. I will definitely refer anyone looking for storage.

Pros:n-Cleann-Easy access from main roadsn-Always had carts available in my experiencen-While I struggled to get my calls answered they did always follow up same day.nnCons:n-Not once was the office actually open when I stopped by during office hours. I did call both times and the phone wasn't answered then.n-Not sure what the climate control is on, but it was hotter in the building than the 73° day outside when I moved in. Yes, before I actually moved anything so I wasn't already warm and sweaty. Not a deal breaker it wasn't like 90° in there, just noting.n-No loading dock so if you have a moving truck need a lift/ramp. Easy enough to work around if you are aware beforehand.n-The price started off reasonable enough, but month 4 I'm informed of a 21% price increase going in to effect. I 100% understand business demand, but you have a unit barely smaller than mine for less than I originally signed up for AND your sister property maybe .5 miles up the street has my exact same unit size on sale for less than I currently pay. Come on, that screams of just increasing the price because you can and you know moving is a pain. Well I am moving out, because I'm not absorbing that much of an increase every few months.nnI gave 4 stars as overall I didn't have any major issues. However, if you need a unit for more than a couple months I suggest you go elsewhere. Clearly, there is not a benefit of being a long term customer here.

Maure was knowledgeable and professional. She was kind enough to check both the Kempsville and Indian River location to find a unit that would accommodate my needs. She even walked me through making the reservation. This quality of service is rare nowadays. Thanks so much Maure!

Customer service deserves 10 Stars! The place is clean and the units are exactly what I was looking for. I couldn't find a better price for what I am getting. Marie is outstanding!! I am extremely happy with the service first great experience with Storage Unit rentals.
