Residence Inn by Marriott Virginia Beach Town Center

We haven’t left yet but felt compelled to write a review. This place is beautiful. Not only spotlessly clean and taken care of, bout the staff is amazing. We were greeted by Inger, who is just the friendliest, nicest person we have met in a long time. She deserves kudos for managing this wonderful hotel.

Room was very clean and had a modern feel to it. Main things like comfy bed, clean well stocked room and bathroom, and well maintained amenities like gym pool etc were great. Laundry is complimentary so that was nice. There were little things about the room that weren't perfect but minor in comparison to the complete stay, and the front desk staff weren't as friendly in the evening around check in but again minor. 5 star to me is flawless so this is a very strong 4 star experience for me. Will deff stay again for sure in the future!!!!!

I must say that our stay here was really enjoyable. The staff was really friendly and the hotel was clean. The indoor pool was nice as well. The best part was that it was pet friendly. I will definitely be staying here again!

Amazingly clean, staff followed covid protocol. Absolutely love adult social time aka wine time. Sherry is amazing, friendly and absolutely the best! 5➕⭐

Check in was very difficult, the front desk attendant may have been new which I completely understand she did her best and she was very nice. However prior to arriving I was told to come into the hotel for a better chance of a room being available for early check in, so I did exactly that. Of course I arrive and no rooms are available, which np! I did wait in my car for a few hours until the room was available bc as I told them over the phone I was extremely exhausted from traveling. Few hours go by and the room is finally available. The manager on duty made things extremely complicated, very poor communication & poor explanation of the process. After her trying to OVER explain at this point she then told me to calm down which was confusing because if anyone needed to “calm down” it was herself. I knew she didn’t take her job seriously when her badge was upside down. After finally getting a room key, the room was very spacious, I loved the island in the kitchen, kitchen is equipped with everything. I paid over $600 for 2 nights, I believe water should’ve been complimentary at the very least. The 3 stars are solely bc my daughter enjoyed the pool, the gym was clean, the room was clean and we took advantage of the free breakfast, I would suggest more options for non-meat lovers and dairy free however no complaints bc it was free. I would suggest checking in on your phone for limited interaction with staff.
