Alamar Resort Inn

This place wasn't too bad. The room I was in, had its own kitchen area, stove, microwave, sink, refrigerator. Had a queen bed in another room, inside that room. It was quiet spacious. Living room was in same area as kitchen. Had a big kitchen table and decent size tv with cable. The room I was in was 204. I'm not sure, but I personally believe the room may be Haunted. But if it is, it's not bad haunting, more like a trickster type. Was eating one day with the girl next to me and the stove light was on. Neither her nor me even touched the stove the whole stay, but the stove miraculously turned itself on somehow. I tried to figure out how, by bumping into it and all but you just can't simply turn it on. You have to press the dials in and turn it either way to activate the stove, so it's not an accidental feat that can be easily done. After I took a number 2 early in the morning I went to go shower. I got done showering and when I was drying off I heard something spin, happen to look over and the toilet paper dispenser had spun enough for toilet paper to hang from its end. I know I didn't touch the dispenser or accidentally hit it to cause it to spin and when I finished using the paper before shower I never left hanging toilet paper. Just a couple odd things that happened that I could not explain. But I feel there may be some type of haunting in that room, but I could be wrong, but regardless I don't believe in that stuff as it is so would stay in that room next time if I had to. But overall the place was nice, besides the early morning noise from planes overhead that would wake you up or people closing their room doors. All the room doors close with a loud noise so imagine ppl that frequently open and close doors for no reason. Because it will make a lot of noise and you can hear these other doors even from far away.

This actually used to be an aparment building. I think it had 6 apartments.nI rented a room for a friend who is homeless and a dog owner.nThe weather was calling for 2 straight days of heavy rain and windy.nI live pay check to pay check...nI also trust my instincts implicitly. I'm very intuitive. If someone or something pops in my mind, I can't rest until I do something about it.nIt's actually rated 2 ud83cudf1fstars. But it's a little better than that... and it's pet friendly.

This motel is nasty. They obviously don't clean the rooms between guests. Thick layer of dust on everything, so much dust hanging out of ac/air vents I couldn't turn on ac or bathroom fan. Non smoking room has a strong smell of cigarettes, smoke detectors don't have batteries in them. Every dresser drawer and end table drawer was filled with garbage. Cobwebs on the ceilings. dirty floors, walls, doors stains everywhere etc. I'm usually ok with staying in an old shabby motel room but not if its disgusting because its never cleaned. You don't want to stay here

rooms are in pretty bad condition. exterior doors are peeling, holes in the wall, chunks of paint falling off wall, musty or smoke smell depending on the room. stains on the towels and beds. walls are paper thin. overall, the hotel is in poor condition - desperately needs a coat of paint and general maintenance. on the plus side, you are only 3 blocks to the ocean. we stayed 30 mins and decided to leave. Also, $25 early check in fee - never heard of that in my entire life. Glad i didn't pay it.

Said one price becouse of pets then tried to charge to more after we were in the room . Towels were either stained really bad or just dirty we just used ower own . Very loud people outside on the walk ways every night outside .we got no sleep you can hear everything threw the walls . And I'm not sure why but I was itching so bad being in there . There is other things but I have said enuff I'm sorry but I would not stay again
