I booked online. Upon check in I was greeted by Damien. He is amazing! Definitely an asset to the company. My room was good. Housekeeping have to watch out for the fine details. For example there was a long hair in the shower also a small hair on the hand towel. But the decor is good the view is amazing. The water pressure in the shower is GREAT!!! COVID procedures are in place and the hotel overall felt clean and sanitized. Breakfast was amazing. Definitely worth the bucks. I will stay again
The hotel was rated 4.1 or very good. If I'd read a little deeper I'd have known what to expect. The location was great, right on the water. The staff was friendly. The room was not clean, hair in tub, dirty floor, some residue on the night stand from prior guest, hard mattress = no sleep. Also loud guests above at 1 am smoking on balcony, which seeped in through the drafty door. It is supposed to be a no smoking facility. So we checked out the next morning and went someplace else.
Damien was super helpful with check in and accommodating the entire evening. The room was clean. Beautiful lobby and breakfast area. Nice comfortable beds. Hot breakfast buffet, ill have to update on that.Pool was a little disappointing it was not heated. I really need the quiet get away. I love the off season in VA Beach.
This is our go to hotel, wonderful as always except now you have to pay to park which doesn't make sense to me. Nothing has changed parking has always been a part of your stay, 1 have been coming here for 10 years this is a disappointing change
