The place is very nice and with a lot space. Also is very clean and has very nice people . : )
They think they are not a public library. They are. They got LEED certification for their stupid building by being a dual use building. Expect second class treatment if you are not a TCC student. Also, no walking on the grass, one of the private, non Police security guards with tattoos will tell you not to.
***THEY ARE ONLY LETTING ACTIVE TCC STUDENTS IN**** no alumni or city of VB citizens. And don’t forget your student ID.nnGlad I drove 13 miles to enjoy a nice big library only to be turned away. Good job city of VB and TCC. Extreme covid measures strike again.
Exquisite material and atmosphere but very constraining hours (9:00-17:00). Many people work outside of these times and are unable to take full advantage of the library. If they were to alter hours from 9:00-21:00, as they were before, it would be much more practical.
Love this library! Huge and enough books for the whole family. My daughter and I have been coming here since I went back to school (TCC). It is shared with TCC. There is a wonderful children's cove and plenty of quiet booths to study in. Plenty of computers as well. There was a Starbux but not sure what happened it.
