If I could give no star I would!nBlack people get treated VERY differently at this Walgreens location.nRude, disrespectful, BUT in a polite way.nThe things that was done to ME ridiculous!nGood thing I was driving and was able to go to another location. I was helped and helped professionally.nThe same reason I was told NO another location said YES, Apologized, and suggested I maker a complaint.nWell supervisor was just as UNPROFESSIONAL.nSo I decided to do a review. Hope the RIGHT person see it.

I’m not one to do reviews but I feel as if I have to do so today. In today’s day in age I personally have never experienced the feeling of being watched when I’m buying something or waiting for my prescription to be filled. I’ve been to this location numerous times before but yesterday 8/04/2020 was the first day I felt uncomfortable in the store. They greeted me at the door which they always do and that’s not the problem but the fact that they had one of there employees constantly pop up and walk pass me and watch me as if I was stealing something made me feel uneasy.(I knew it was an employee but the young lady covered herself up with a sweater she helped everyone else but when I asked for help I was ignored) so I was looking at my phone trying to find the product and young lady was following me and watching me as much as she did saw that but yet didn’t do anything to assist me. As I walked to the pharmacy to check on my prescription I could see her following me from a distance. This is was by far an uncomfortable experience for me and I’m pretty sure this isn’t the first time this has happened to someone in this store. Surprisingly enough someone else has had a similar issue. This may not get anywhere but I say this to say please be aware of your surroundings because no one should have to experience this feeling I did.

I have used this location for many years and have always been very happy with their service. They were pretty quick getting prescriptions filled and no confusion when picking up prescriptions. The pharmacist would often come up to the counter and ask if I had any questions, or the clerk would ask if I had any questions for the pharmacist. It has changed a lot in the past several months!nnI would rate it 5 stars for my previous experience and less than that lately.nnIn the past several months something is happening to change things. They seem to take much longer to get a prescription filled and when I go to pick it up they are often searching all over for it, not finding it in the alphabetical bin it belongs in!!nnThe employees are all very nice and so helpful and that has not changed!!nnI hope this disorganization gets corrected because I would like to keep using this location as my pharmacy of choice!!

The staff is always friendly and welcoming. My brother is in hospice care at my house and this is my “go to” pharmacy for his prescriptions and needs. They have been wonderful. The pharmacist and staff have been able to assist me with everything! Love this Walgreens.

Pharmacist was not willing to fill out my prescription. If you are paying through the SAFE payment program/ Virginia criminal injuries compensation fund, DO NOT GO HERE. Instead, go to the rite aid on 2040 Atlantic Avenue in Chesapeake. They are so much more put together. They’re probably more competent overall, so I would just recommend going there instead.
