Coastal is a very warm, friendly and welcoming church. We bounced between several churches originally looking for our home until a friend at work recommended we try his church, Coastal. We are so glad we came. We have never before felt so welcome and fit in better than we do at Coastal. Unpretentious, relaxed, casual and never pressured.

I am having mixed feelings and I don't want to. When we first started attending Coastal we felt like we found a home, we felt loved and while the pastors casually talked about donations, money was not the topic of the day. That has seemed to change here recently and each time we come in it seems we are given another sermon on why we need to give more money and offer more of our time. I almost feel like I am attending a time share sales pitch now instead of a meaningful sermon in my favorite church. I understand expenses, growing pains and the need for funds but to make this your daily focus is just too much for me. I don't want to look for another church but I am very close to leaving. We give what we can but the constant sales pitch is making me feel inadequate in God's eyes...
