Rio Car Wash

Today, in four separate vehicles, my family and I went to Rio Car Wash on 5217 Indian River Road, Virginia Beach, VA.nnTwo of our vehicles were fine but my husband and I notice our vehicles were still dirty. We spoke to an employee who said we could run them through again and scrub it with no problem. We went in line and explained the issue to a guy in burgundy - he let my husband go with no problem. My husband got to the front of the wash, they let him through with no issue and scrubbed his truck. When I got to the entrance of the car wash. They refused to perform the service that was offered because it wasn’t included in my wash, and in return I offered to pay the difference. This is where things escalated with an employee who has a military style crew cut, Caucasian, and tattoos on both arms. He started to yell at me and threaten me with calling the cops. I felt extremely under attack and he continued to yell at me.nnOnce I got to the other end, I notified the rest of my family who were waiting. We all went to the front to address the issue. Your employee continued to yell, swear at me, and verbally/ psychically harass me by flipping me off (see attached photo). Your employee called the cops and so did we.nnI just thought you would like to know what kind of managers (the title he gave the cops) are representing your company. I would love to give you a name, but he refused to speak to me after calling the cops. As a business owner and marketing director, I feel that this is important.

I love Rio Car Wash! From the moment that I arrived for the first time ever, the staff was kind and very helpful. This location is convenient, cost effective and large enough for the services being offered. They have the drive thru car wash with many services available at great prices. This location offers free vacuuming, which is a great help. I loved this location so much that I'm a loyal customer. I never have any issues when I come here!

Pretty good, innovative & reasonable service. Gone are the vacuum token days!nAlso, their biznez hours is considerate and if we care about a clean-looking car, THIS is a genuine place!

I love a nice and very efficient attention. They are the best vacuum cleaners out there because they are strong and the place is always with a seasonal and clean concept.

Often have to drive through 2x times to clean car.nNot sure how it misses spots on the car. If you are a monthly member no biggie. No extra charge to wash and rewash.
