Colony Motel & Mobile Home Pk

Wonderful, visited a friend. Everyone seemed so nice. Awesome place.

I used to live in Lot #236, which was a mobile home that we brought from another trailer park that used to exist off of Baxter Rd. near Independence Blvd. which was being converted into an apartment complex. We moved to Colony in about 2003-2004, and we unfortunately officially moved in October-ish 2013. Lots of great memories of this place. I used to play outside and ride my bike all day and into the evening with my friends and we always had a great time. Before they put the fence up behind our house, we used to go into the other neighborhood sometimes (between 2008 and 2010) and hang out there. Our next-door neighbors to the left of us (Lot #235, which is no longer there) gave us a cat before they moved away in 2011. When we moved ourselves, we had to give her up to a pet shelter...nnI'm 20 years old now and I live in Suffolk at the time I'm writing this. I still find myself thinking about this place from time to time and how awesome it was to just be a kid and have fun. Maybe I'll move back in some day, bonus points if it's back into #236. I really miss this place, and my cat. She'd be 9 years old.nnCheetara, if you're still alive, I love you, and I hope you're having a wonderful life with your new family.nnThe pictures I added are screenshots of the June 2011 Google Street View of my house and Lot #235 that I took on my school Chromebook in the 9th grade in April 2016. I still haven't gotten over how cool that Sonic the Hedgehog car was lol. Apparently the Google Street Views for the inside of the Colony Mobile Home Park seem to be no longer available, so I'm glad I took these when I did...

I owned two different homes there. Was in Navy and single. Both were unlivable when I got them. Fixed them up and we're good to go. Most residents met were great people. Some were out there. Drugs were a problem at the time in the nineties. Stayed in the motel once. It was nice for the price. Owners were private and kept our of way. Maintenance was non existent. Just keep the money coming in

Bad land lords, poor management and no maintenance, everyone pays a different rent amount and the price goes up every year, no trash pick up and full of problems

Nice Spacious Trailers Clean Modern Update.. Well Some Are Just Depends On Lot And Owners But My Family And Friends Mobile Home Is Nice.
