love staying here at Sea Mist. At night if the winds just right, you can hear the waves! walking distance to the beach, affordable laundry, friendly staff, quite and cozy campground...... oh, and you can’t beat the price! 25 to 35 dollars a night to be this close to the ocean with a less crowded beach ❤ufe0f ! Dog friendly, full hookups and concrete sites!! I love it hereud83dude0a. 10 out of 10, will def be staying here again.

Loved our stay here.. South side is more private but, WiFi is almost nonexistent. North camping area was not bad either just more car noise. Wish the access to the beach was easier! Close to lots of great places to visit. Exchange and commissary are off of the main base.

The RV spots aren’t bad, but the NAVFAC support is fairly poor, as is the inspect control.nThe washer and dryers aren’t great (pretty small washer). They aren’t as dirty as the ones in SD, but they cost more.nThe grounds aren’t the cleanest, bare bones maintenance staff.nA cousin wanted to visit in one of the Rustic Cabins beside our RV site, we found out it was already occupied with Ticks (and assume some sand gnats). Given Lyme disease is a real threat in these parts, it was very troublesome they don’t stay on top of pest control.nThere were four spots yellow taped off when we arrived 16 days ago, only one was “fixed”. Given the conditions of the boardwalk, gas station, mini NEX, etc. I can’t figure out what else NAVFAC is doing.nThe site tables are rusted out and a tetanus danger.

My family absolutely loved it here. It's only our 2nd trip in our camper and it was amazing. All sites are small walk to the beach. It was a social distancing dream during Covid-19 as the beach and campground were not crowded at all. The beach near Shifting Sands has a lifeguard (maybe a mile away), but this beach does not. It's good to know if you have young kids as the water can tend to be rough.

Love this campground. If you are military or retired military this place is great.
