Chapmans Landing Bridge is a really cool spot I've found to use for family photos and even outdoor boudoir/trash the dress photos! This is a cute little area to explore with the bridge being up so high and the water being fun to play in!

Very simple walk and views of the river. It is part of the Appalachian trail so you can go much farther

It is one of two swinging bridges I use to play and swim this area as a kid. Bridge was just reconstructed and looks great. Fun for kids....or scary depending on the kid :P

It's a five to ten minute experience. It's neat but unless you're there to fish, which is the only thing you're permitted to do there, I don't find it worthwhile to go there. Swimming is illegal at this area of the river with many signs indicating trespassers will be prosecuted for doing so.
