This is a lovely cabin retreat next to South Shenandoah River.nIf you are interested in kayaking or canoeing, I would suggested you put in upstream and paddle/float down...nCell reception spotty (VW) and WiFi much slower than fiber. However, the view is simply spectacular and it's a great place to get away from it all, so the connection challenge is really a feature. This is a great place to slow down, sit back, and relax. ☺ufe0f
We were invited as guests and loved the place. Nice clean updated home.. like back home
Great view, nice access to river, nice hot tub. TV didn't work. Owners need to provide drinking water, soap for shower, directions for TV and fireplace. Windows badly need to be cleaned of cobwebs and dirt.
Locations was amazing. Cabin and furniture was old and run down, we found draws and cupboards covered in mouse droppings.nWe also felt sick with the smell of the water, it was so off putting.nThe bed was also extremely uncomfortable and could feel springs and the plastic sheets on the matress made it feel much worse.nI think this place would be amazing if a little TLC and some upgrades were made to the cabin.
Nice cabin, river view, Wi-Fi, TV and Jacuzzi, but the water tastes and smells TERRIBLE. Even with that Brita thing at the kitchen sink, still terrible.
