Despite the very negative comments (though I cannot attest to the level of justice or corruption here), it was a nice place to stop by in the centre of town. There is the monument to the Confederate dead, which garnered enough controversy to warrant a voter referendum this past November; the voters overwhelmingly voted to keep it on the grounds essentially ending the debate around it for the time being. Nearby are the WWI/WWII, Korean, and Viet Nam war memorials honouring those who passed during those wars as well, and a stone for those passed in the September 11 Attacks, the first I’ve seen at any VA courthouse but I greatly appreciated it nevertheless. Currently, there was a flag display for the survivors of sexual assault for April’s Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and lastly, nearby is an historical marker for the court’s past in particular during the War Between the States. Another marker tells when Stonewall Jackson retook the town in 1862. Would recommend a visit if in Front Royal like I was, cheers.

If I could give no stars I would. Clearly something foul is going on inside this court house and really the entire county. DO NOT MOVE TO THIS DISGUSTING TOWN!
The woman in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court intake office who is there for the sole purpose of setting up appointments and handing out the paperwork needed for those parents who do not have a custody order in effect was very clearly sexist and prejudice against fathers. I went in to pick up paperwork for my husband and set up an appointment for him so he could begin the process of getting custody of his child. She was very sweet and helpful going over the paperwork with me until she realized it was for my husband at which point she became snippy and short with me. I went with him the following week to make sure the process went smoothly for him (as this is already a stressful situation and doesn't need to be made any harder). When we got there the same woman was at the window and all but turned her nose up to him. I however was there a little over a year ago and received the complete opposite reaction, she was sweet, caring, interested in my life. I think perhaps a seminar would be highly suggested or maybe this downright isn't the job position for her, as it does take two people to make and raise a child and both should be treated with the same understanding and open opportunities.
Really? no phone number listed on court documents. Number found online directs one to another number. No website, no fb. Called to find out if open in bad weather, and given message to listen to the radio. Government efficiency at its best.
