The room I got was nice but it wasn’t what I was expecting from the photos I had seen when booking. I liked the red paint and the beams on the ceiling. I really liked the tub and curved shower rod. I was glad to be able to have my small dog stay with me without an extra fee. The floor in the room was laminate.nnThe hallway didn’t smell great. The ice machine on the second floor was broken. There was a patched hole in the inside of the bathroom door of the room but it was patched with some off yellow color and not painted to match the door. The place could use some work. The side door labeled “B” doesn’t always close and lock as it should so I had to make sure to close it myself. This building does not have an elevator to the second floor. The towels on the first night that were already in the room were nice and fluffy but the replacements each day after were not.
The folks here were very nice. The last time I was at a Red Roof Inn some 15 years ago, it was a real dump. Completely trashed and falling apart. This one was very nice. It was clean. The bed was comfortable. I don't know if they do breakfast as we checked out around 5 am so I can't give reviews for that. Other than that, it was a 100% great experience.
Visited here recently just before Christmas, and it has changed tremendously! Has been renovated and has a new look w Very nice decor; much cleaner than before and not a bed bug in sight since they tented and exterminated. I heard also that they've stopped letting all the riff raff in to stay w their drugs. Seems to me it's the nicest place to stay out here in Madison Heights now. Love to see the other Motels follow suit so we cld have a few nice motels in the area for family coming in from out of town and to bring some revenue to our little county.
Loved it!! I drive truck and had to find a room for the night. Website said truck parking but that was not correct. If you Bobtail in then yes but there is not room for a trailer. There is a huge Lowes and Goodwill parking Lot directly across the street. I have a pet and pets stay free didnt know that. The room and staff were amazing!! Newly renovation going on our room looked brand new! Highly recommend if you have pets to stay here. If you don't have pets no worries they put all of us pet owners off in our own separate wing and floor. Definitely will stay again if stuck in that area again!!
Great place to stay after having a horrible experience with another hotel. Clean, newly remodeled and staff went above and beyond to make my stay great. Highly recommended. Very affordable and the stay itself warranted a higher price. Don't be fooled by the look of the outside. You will be happy you stayed.
