Hydaway is a beautiful outdoor experience! The lake with the sandy beach is so peaceful. There are many good trails to hike on around the lake and Liberty mountain. They have equipment to check out for the students, such as paddleboards, mountain bikes, canoes, and such. It is near the Liberty University gun range so you do hear the guns from there.nThere are grills to use, and campsites you can rent where you can have a bonfire.nAll in all, it's a great place for a relaxing day. Enjoy!
The property is beautiful. The trail maps and trail marking leave a lot to be desired.
Visit often. Finally got to rent the kayaks and swim a bit. Nice facilities and staff.

I love Camp Hydaway because I went to camp there for five years. Now I am a CIT (counselor in training) and I absolutely love camp. They have really good Christian leaders and a good program. They do a new theme every and every year the kids love it. Everyone there will remember it for a long time.
