The salon is very clean. There is always someone running around keeping the place nice and tidy. I went tanning one day a few weeks back and the lovely lady that cleans the tanning beds was walking past the bed I was going to lay in. She saw finger prints on that bed and hurried in to clean it before I would go in to use it. That will stick with me. I rated 4 stars only because sometimes when I go in to tan, I just want to go in to just tan.. not try and to be sold something every time. I do understand that the employees are to sell as much products as possible but I just feel like I look like a walking dollar sign every time an employee lays eyes on me. Other than that I've always had a great experience. Only a hand full of times I would have to wait to get into a tanning bed. To me that is great , beings I've been going there for a year now! I would recommend this place to others for surely. The tanning packages are priced pretty well. Other places charge what I can pay for a year at Sun Tan City for only 5 months worth of tanning. Definitely take advantage of the Birthday Bash!

I was a top tier customer who bought top tier tanning lotions.. I spent about 250 dollars there a month.nCindy Woldorf the manager would prefer to cater to Karen's that spend 100 dollars a month than me. I recommend Hollywood Glow.nnAll the girls that work there are great. The salon is clean. The beds are great. They do not carry Australian Gold or Swedish Beauty products 2 top name tanning lotions.

I went to the Sun Tan City on Wards and the customer service was absolutely horrible. The workers don’t listen to the customers requests and are extremely demeaning. While I have heard good this about Sun Tan City this location was horrible. Strongly don’t recommend!

I’m never one to complain about a business but every time I come into this tanning salon the workers are very unprofessional and uneducated about tanning. Do not have waste your time or money here it’s a joke.

I haven't ever used a tanning bed before until yesterday. In preparation for the beach i wanted to get a little color. My experince at both the Roanoke ( franklin road) and Lynchburg (wards rd) was great! Everyone was very friendly and they had good suggestions for me as a new user. I doesn't take long to get in and out. I thought the price was very reasonable. I did think the lotion was a little on the expensive side but it smells great and seems to be helping. I am quite fair haired and skinned and I don't usually tan well but in just two sessions i see a significant difference.
