Welcome to Virginia unemployment where if you were wrongly fired during a pandemic guess what? You will be waiting for months before you get paid. If you catch covid you get your money faster. Do not report you were fired claim you have covid and was let go. You won't be in my shoes of MONTHS with no money. Might just commit suicide instead if talking to my landlord for the 4th month explaining why I have no money. My blood is on your hands va government.
There should be a class action law suit against the VEC for their severe incompetence. None of their phone numbers work. Sometimes their systems are stuck on technical loops so you can’t get to the next step. You aren’t even placed on hold in a queue if you wish to talk to someone— system just hangs up on you if no one is immediately available. Such trash.
