I love going to the Market every weekend, there is always something new or I have not discovered yet.nnYou can get a wide variety of merchandise from tons of different vendors. Anything from local fresh fruit and vegetables to the very best deals on a new wardrobe.nnThere are many craftsmen demonstrating their skills on-site. From wood carvers to jewelry makers.nnGreat place to find souvenirs for travelers and also household needs for locals.nnAdmission is only $1. So put on your walking ud83dudeb6♂ufe0f shoes ud83dudc5e and grab your shopping bags ud83dudecd.
A few really great vendors.nBut a lot of vendors with cheap stuff made in China.nWish there was more authentic booths. Handmade things and foods/treats.nOne vendor sold an “older”coconut for $10 and another guy sold his delightful fresh young coconuts for $5!nnMost booths are overpriced. But an overall fun experience.
I Love a Swap Meet. This was Great Vendors Set up open air market, lots of products, local artist, good tourist items, some local food snacks, bread, coffee, spice mix and negotiating for better deal is possible. Many vendors have the same items but different prices so If you can get it at one place you can get it from another. I suggest bringing nice walking shoes and you will need bags for your items. Make this a day trip to see everything. Right now they are open on Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday.
I made a lot of money. And I owe the credit to the setting and the way they run their operations.
Maybe I had too big of expectations... thinking back, I am not sure what I exactly expected..perhaps tents of Hawaiian souvenirs .. maybe some unique jewelry vendors, or perhaps local arts or maybe some good street foods...nnWell, I got none of those!!@@nThere were vendors who were selling what looks like old, outdated pieces of stocks and vendors that are selling items from their closet(garage sale)nTotal waste of my time.nI am just grateful parking was just a $3
